A law firm seeks a Real Estate Senior Associate or Counsel for its Charlotte, NC office. The candidate will manage commercial real estate transactions, including lease reviews, acquisitions, and dispositions, from contract negotiation through due diligence and closing.

Duties

• Manage routine commercial real estate transactions.
• Conduct lease reviews and handle property acquisitions and dispositions.
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements and JV agreements.
• Lead transaction due diligence processes.
• Collaborate on complex engagements in a team environment.

Requirements

• J.D. degree and membership in the applicable state bar association.
• 6+ years of experience in sophisticated deal work.
• Strong background in title and survey items preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in the applicable state.

Education

• J.D. degree required.

Certifications

• Membership in the applicable state bar association.
