Job Title: Senior Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience drafting litigation documents, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
• Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
• Foster positive work relationships.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.
• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience with drafting litigation documents, such as motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions in health care, ERISA, and commercial litigation matters.
• State and federal court experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Immediately transferable skills and strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Admitted to practice law.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar and in good standing in the state of Delaware (or eligible for admission by motion).
