A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented attorney with 3 years of litigation experience to join its Litigation practice in Phoenix, AZ, focusing on Construction and General Litigation matters. This role offers hands-on experience across all phases of litigation, exposure to sophisticated matters, and the opportunity to work closely with experienced litigators in a collaborative environment.

Duties

• Assist with all phases of construction and general litigation matters, including pre-litigation investigations, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Draft and review legal documents such as complaints, answers, motions, briefs, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda analyzing complex legal issues.
• Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel under attorney supervision.
• Support senior attorneys in case strategy and day-to-day case management.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in litigation, preferably including construction or complex commercial matters.
• Admission to the state bar (or active bar membership in good standing).
• Demonstrated interest in construction law and general litigation.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active state bar admission in good standing.
