A law firm is seeking an Employment Law Associate Attorney for their Denver, CO office.

Job Overview:

The Employment Law Associate Attorney will be responsible for advising on equal employment opportunity laws, defending employers in compliance reviews, overseeing pay equity analyses, assisting with affirmative action plans, and providing proactive advice on employment laws and regulations.

Duties:

• Advise on equal employment opportunity laws and practices to assess and advance workplace equity.
• Defend employers in Office of Federal Contract Compliance (OFCCP) compliance reviews, including against claims of systemic discrimination.
• Oversee privileged pay equity analyses to identify and help close gender and race-based pay differences.
• Assist government contractor clients with designing, developing, and implementing affirmative action plans.
• Advise and train employers on employment laws and regulations, including anti-discrimination, pay equity, pre-employment testing, and hiring processes.
• Provide proactive advice and counsel to employers on employment laws.

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 1+ years of experience is preferred, and employment law experience is a plus.
• Prior experience with affirmative action programs or OFCCP compliance reviews is a plus.
• Colorado Bar Admission preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, including working with large data reports.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team and effectively oversee other professionals.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education and Certifications:

• JD from an accredited law school.
