A regional law firm is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Closing Attorney to join its team at the Belmont, NC office. The role primarily involves handling real estate closings, including conducting closing ceremonies, reviewing title searches, and handling various legal documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a basic understanding of the real estate closing process in North Carolina and at least one year of experience in real estate law. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

Location:

• Belmont, NC

Duties:

• Conduct real estate closing ceremonies with clients.
• Examine title searches and review recorded documents, including trusts, estates, and corporate documents.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the closing process.
• Review and finalize closing documents.
• Ensure all aspects of the closing process comply with state regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with support teams for smooth transaction processing.
• Manage administrative duties related to real estate closings.
• Travel occasionally to the Hickory, NC office.

Requirements:

• Actively licensed North Carolina attorney.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in real estate law.
• Strong understanding of the real estate closing process in North Carolina.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Must be committed to ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar License in North Carolina (Required).

Skills:

• Knowledge of real estate law, particularly in the North Carolina market.
• Strong understanding of the real estate closing process.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client service skills.
• Ability to handle legal documentation and review complex materials accurately.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with support staff.
