Duties:

• Prepare, draft, and revise legal pleadings and other court documents

• Assist in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation

• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft corresponding memoranda

• Review case files, manage documentation, and ensure procedural compliance

• Provide strategic input to senior legal staff on complex legal issues

• Collaborate with legal teams to support case development and client representation

• Review and assist in drafting contracts, employment agreements, and real estate documents

• Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold client-attorney privilege

• Participate in legal proceedings, including hearings and depositions under the guidance

• Communicate legal advice clearly and effectively to clients and internal teams

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of experience in a law firm or legal environment

• Licensed and in good standing with the Utah State Bar

• Licensure in Texas, Nevada, or California is advantageous

• Familiarity with litigation procedures, court filings, and legal compliance

• Demonstrated ability to write and argue legal motions

• Adept in complex legal research and analysis

• Excellent oral advocacy and persuasive writing skills

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to thoroughness and accuracy

• Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• Open to learning and working in new legal practice areas

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar License in the state of Utah

• Additional Bar memberships (TX, NV, CA) are a plus

Skills:
