Job Overview: A reputable law firm located in Richardson, TX, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hearing Coverage Attorney to join its legal team. This position will involve representing the firm in various court matters across multiple counties in the Dallas area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for litigation, a solid understanding of legal procedures, and the ability to manage a high volume of cases with efficiency and precision.

Key Duties:

• Represent the firm at pre-trials, trials, mediations, and other court-related hearings across Dallas, Denton, Collin, and Tarrant counties.
• Handle a substantial caseload while meeting strict deadlines.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Communicate directly with opposing counsel, court personnel, and clients as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of court appearances, including motions, settlements, and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas.
• Proven ability to handle legal proceedings independently, including court appearances and litigation tasks.
• High level of organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in legal software, word processing, and other relevant computer applications.

Education:

• Doctorate or better in Law (Juris Doctor - J.D.)

Certifications:

• Texas Bar License (Required)

Skills:

• Strong courtroom and litigation skills.
