Duties

• Draft, file, and serve pleadings and motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and serve discovery requests.
• Represent clients in courtroom proceedings.
• Develop and execute effective case strategies.

Requirements

• Admitted to the North Carolina bar, in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial litigation experience in North Carolina.
• Reside in the greater Charlotte-metro area with the ability to attend in-person events as needed.
• Capacity to work effectively from home with a dedicated office space.
• Proficiency with Mac OS, Adobe, Outlook, Zoom, and Microsoft Word.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• License to practice law in North Carolina.
