A law firm seeks a highly skilled Senior Litigation Attorney to join their legal team in Roseville, CA. This full-time, onsite position requires substantial courtroom and litigation experience, strategic insight, and a leadership mindset. Duties

• Handle all phases of litigation, from case intake through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, settlement negotiations, and trial prep.
• Conduct legal research, draft and edit pleadings, motions, briefs, and related filings.
• Evaluate case strengths and weaknesses to develop and refine litigation strategy.
• Lead witness interviews, depositions, and client communication.
• Collaborate with and supervise junior attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff.
• Review and edit written work product from attorneys and non-attorney team members.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel.
• Manage multiple active matters with competing priorities.
• Work closely with managing partners to support firm initiatives and case development.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Member in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 8-10+ years of litigation experience in California, preferably with consumer or plaintiff-side litigation exposure.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation independently.
• Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
• Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
• Experience supervising support staff and delegating tasks effectively.
• Fluent or conversational Spanish is a plus, but not required.
• Highly organized, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, in-office environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office, case management software, and digital workflow tools.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Member in good standing with the California State Bar.

Skills
