Duties

• Draft motions, briefs, and memorandums of law.
• Conduct legal research.
• Appear in court for contested motions and evidentiary hearings.
• Respond to discovery requests and manage motion practice.
• Devise and execute legal strategies for contested cases.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in contested motion practice.
• Admission to practice law in NY; NJ/PA/CT admission is a plus.
• Superior writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve legal issues efficiently.
• Capacity to manage a heavy workload and produce significant legal work.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
