Job Overview: A law firm in New York City is seeking a highly qualified Structured Finance Associate Attorney with 5-7 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in asset-backed securitization and structured lending transactions, emphasizing esoteric securitization.

Duties:

• Advise clients on asset-backed securitization and structured lending transactions.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including offering memoranda, purchase agreements, and credit agreements.
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on complex financial and regulatory issues.
• Assist in due diligence reviews and client presentations.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in structured finance, preferably focusing on asset-backed securitization.
• Experience representing financial institutions as issuers, underwriters, borrowers, lenders, sellers, and purchasers.
• Strong understanding of capital markets and structured finance principles.
• Superior academic credentials, including a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
• Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligible for admission on motion or by waiver).

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
