A distinguished law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Litigation Associate Attorney. This role involves supporting the firm's litigation team with responsibilities spanning case management, discovery, legal analysis, and client representation.

Location

• Knoxville, TN

Duties

• Assess new case files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations

• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed

• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production

• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing detailed reports

• Negotiate settlements, obtain authority, and prepare for trial as necessary

• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants

Requirements

• 3-5 years of practice experience

• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee

• Experience in insurance defense preferred

Education

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in Tennessee
