Job Overview

A law firm seeks a qualified associate attorney to support its Florida practice in Tampa, FL. This position offers an opportunity to work within a multi-state real estate and creditors' rights law firm.

Duties

• Handle a significant volume of cases in the field of creditor's rights.
• Resolve issues in discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution.
• Make court appearances and travel as required.
• Develop relationships to be viewed as a trusted partner and advisor.

Requirements

• Member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
• 0-5 years of litigation experience.
• Familiarity with the Florida legal system.
• Appellate experience and knowledge of TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership of the Florida Bar.
• Additional Bar licenses are a plus.
