Duties

• Manage a caseload of consular processing and waiver matters, including I-130, I-601A, I-212, I-601, and K-Visa applications

• Prepare clients for consular interviews and USCIS appearances

• Review and finalize immigration application packets prepared by support staff

• Represent clients before USCIS and other relevant agencies

• Supervise and support a team of paralegals to ensure efficiency and compliance with deadlines

• Analyze case documents and identify potential immigration relief or legal strategies

• Draft and submit legal briefs and supporting documentation for waiver and consular matters

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience practicing immigration law

• Prior experience handling consular processing and immigration waiver cases

• Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred but not required)

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active bar membership in any U.S. jurisdiction (California preferred)

Skills

• Strong legal writing and analytical skills

• Knowledge of U.S. immigration procedures related to family-based petitions and consular processing

• Ability to lead and collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants

• Familiarity with immigration case management software (preferred)

• Ability to provide high-quality legal counsel in a fast-paced environment
