A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join their team in Casino Defense Litigation and Employment Law in Atlantic City, NJ. The role involves representing casino and hospitality clients in various legal matters, including litigation and internal investigations.

Duties

• Assist in initial case evaluation and development of litigation strategy.
• Represent clients in employment-related litigation and administrative proceedings.
• Conduct extensive legal research and draft legal documents.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions.
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Assist in preparing settlement agreements and legal briefs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to New Jersey Bar.
• 2-4 years' experience in Defense Litigation; Casino/Hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of Employment Law.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
• Experience with NetDocs and Time Matters is helpful.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to New Jersey Bar.
