Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Civil Litigation Attorney in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience and an active Colorado law license. Licensure in Wyoming or Nebraska is advantageous.

Duties

• Manage a full caseload of insurance defense litigation matters independently.
• Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Develop litigation strategy and provide guidance to clients and junior attorneys.
• Draft pleadings, discovery responses, and motions.
• Communicate with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in Colorado.
• 5+ years of insurance defense litigation experience (auto, premises, general liability, etc.).
• Proven trial experience is strongly preferred.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in Colorado.

Skills

• Exceptional legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
