Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate to join its corporate, securities, and mergers & acquisitions practice in Denver, Colorado. This position offers the opportunity to engage in diverse transactions for both emerging and established companies, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate formation and governance, equity financings, and general corporate matters. The successful candidate will work closely with senior partners and associates, gaining significant drafting experience, deal responsibility, and client interaction.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents.
• Engage in strategic and analytical decision-making.
• Manage multiple priorities and deliver quality work.
• Collaborate within a team and manage components of transactions independently.
• Interact directly with clients to achieve their goals.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in Colorado with an active bar license or eligible for admission within one year.
• 2+ years of experience in corporate transactions, equity financings, and corporate formation.
• Tax experience or background is a plus.
• Experience in securities, mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, and related areas preferred.
• Strong academic credentials from law school preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Active bar license in Colorado or eligibility for admission within one year.
