A law firm in Concord, CA, is seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will provide legal representation to clients, engage in litigation defense or prosecution, and play a crucial role in enhancing the firm's visibility and client relationships.

Job Details:

• Provide legal representation to clients, assessing facts and issues, and offering appropriate counseling.
• Conduct litigation defense or prosecution of civil claims.
• Respond to client concerns effectively to increase and retain business.
• Participate in industry organizations and affiliated committees to enhance the firm’s community and industry presence.
• Represent the firm internally and externally, contributing to its overall success.
• Undertake additional duties as necessary to support legal and management goals.
• Attend court appearances and meetings in San Diego.

Requirements:

• J.D. degree.
• Active California Bar license.
• Ability to communicate regularly with clients on various practice group topics.
• Strong multitasking skills, operating against inflexible deadlines both independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
• 1-3 years of attorney experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in business and/or real estate law.
• Familiarity with ProLaw or other billing and document management programs.

Education:

• J.D. degree.
• Active California Bar license.

Certifications:

• California Bar license.
