A leading personal injury law firm is seeking a Briefing & Research Attorney to support its litigation team in Austin, TX. This role is ideal for a motivated legal professional with strong writing and analytical skills who is eager to contribute to the development of high-impact personal injury cases. The attorney will work closely with trial attorneys and gain experience in legal drafting, trial preparation, and litigation strategy.

Duties

• Draft discovery requests, responses, pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Conduct legal research to support litigation strategies

• Prepare trial notebooks and support attorneys during trial

• Assist with deposition preparation and review of relevant case law

• Analyze facts and evidence to build strong plaintiff cases

• Collaborate with cross-functional legal teams

• Support development of litigation plans and case evaluations

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines

• Comfort working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• Ability to adapt and thrive under pressure

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and in good standing

Skills

• Excellent legal writing and research skills

• Strong verbal communication and analytical thinking

• Ability to work well with litigation teams and attorneys

• Experience with case management software is a plus

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
