A law firm seeks a talented litigation attorney to join the Subrogation Practice Group in New York, NY. This remote position offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, handling a variety of tasks related to property damage claims.

Duties

• Manage intake, review, and all aspects of discovery.
• Conduct mediations and trials for numerous claims annually.
• Draft legal motions and prepare for court proceedings.
• Analyze recovery opportunities for plaintiff claims.
• Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years' litigation experience with a large caseload.
• Experience in subrogation law, products liability, and personal injury.
• Prior trial experience, including participation in at least five trials.
• Primary attorney in at least 20 depositions and 10 mediations.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Valid New Jersey Bar license required.
• New York Bar license is a plus.

Skills

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in trial preparation and courtroom procedures.
