A law firm seeks a Bankruptcy Attorney for a fully remote position based in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will manage a substantive caseload, enhance their expertise, and contribute to a value-driven team.

Duties

• Manage a statewide bankruptcy caseload efficiently.
• Prepare and file motions, pleadings, and other key documents.
• Conduct Chapter 13 Plan Reviews and draft objections as needed.
• Attend court hearings, both virtual and in-person.
• Act as a liaison between the firm, clients, courts, trustees, and outside counsel.
• Handle time-sensitive escalations and update client systems accurately.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active Georgia Bar Membership in good standing.
• Three years of bankruptcy experience preferred, but not required.
• Comfort with high-volume, deadline-driven environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel as needed for hearings and court appearances.
• Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Georgia Bar Membership.

Skills

• Experience in real estate, mortgage, or commercial litigation is a bonus.
• Knowledge of FDCPA, RESPA, or TILA is advantageous.
• Background in foreclosure law is beneficial.
