A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will be a skilled litigator capable of managing a diverse range of litigated matters, including contested motions, appeals, and evidentiary hearings.

Duties

• Draft motions, briefs, and memorandums of law.
• Conduct legal research.
• Appear in court for contested motions and evidentiary hearings.
• Respond to discovery requests and engage in motion practice.
• Manage all aspects of contested cases, including devising and executing legal strategies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in contested motion practice.
• Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania; New Jersey and/or New York is a plus.
• Willingness to waive into additional jurisdictions.
• Superior writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve legal issues quickly and proficiently.
• Eager to manage a heavy workload and produce significant legal work.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
