Duties:

• Draft and prepare legal documents, motions, briefs, and appeals
• Prepare cases for hearings and attend Master and Individual calendar hearings, USCIS interviews, and NY State Family Court hearings
• Supervise the work of assigned paralegals
• Communicate effectively with clients and courts
• Conduct legal research and case preparation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in immigration law
• Admitted to practice law in New York
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and research skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Member of the New York State Bar (Required)
