A law firm seeks a mid-level project finance associate specializing in renewable energy to join their team in San Francisco, CA. The role involves working on debt and tax equity financings, as well as development and transactional work for renewable energy assets, including solar, wind, and storage projects.

Duties

• Support construction and term debt facilities and tax credit monetization transactions.
• Assist in financing transactions, acquisitions, and joint ventures of projects and platforms.
• Draft various financing and partnership agreements and related deal documents.
• Conduct due diligence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• JD and active bar membership in good standing.
• Three to five years of experience in debt and tax equity project finance and M&A.
• Experience in managing transactions, timelines, and facilitating closings.
• Familiarity with tax equity structures and partnership tax concepts.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
