Job Overview

A law firm seeks a partner-level attorney with at least seven years of experience advising clients on FDA regulatory matters to join its Consumer Brands industry group. This position is available in Washington, D.C., Seattle, WA, Spokane, WA, Portland, OR, New York, NY, or Tulsa, OK.

Duties

• Advise clients on FDA regulatory compliance for food, beverage, dietary supplements, cosmetics, and other consumer products.
• Counsel clients on labeling, packaging, advertising, and promotional claims.
• Manage inspections, enforcement matters, recalls, and regulatory developments.
• Lead regulatory aspects of financing, investment, and M&A transactions.
• Negotiate and advise on commercial transactions within consumer brands and products industries.

Requirements

• Minimum seven years of experience in FDA regulatory compliance.
• Experience with USDA regulatory compliance is preferred.
• Portable book of business and interest in client relationship development.
• Experience with CPSC, FTC, and related regulatory matters is a plus.
• Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; California Bar admission is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
