The candidate should have 2-5 years of experience with patent prosecution, at USPTO or in a law firm, with excellent academic credentials, strong writing skills, and sharp analytical ability. Industry experience is a plus. holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, or similar specialties; other specialties or an M.S. with appropriate experience may be considered. Must show competence in understanding chemical structures and properties. PTO registration is strongly preferred, though technical specialists with appropriate experience and the ability to sit for the patent bar will be considered.
