Duties

• Drive strategy on assigned litigation matters.
• Draft and supervise major legal filings.
• Manage discovery processes effectively.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare witnesses for court proceedings.
• Work directly with clients to address their legal needs.

Requirements

• Approximately 5 years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm setting.
• Excellent writing and judgment skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep matters progressing.
• Strong deposition experience.
• Comfortable in client-facing roles.
• Licensed in Michigan or Ohio, or eligible for admission by examination or waiver.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Michigan or Ohio.
