Duties:

  • Guide clients through estate planning options with clarity and care

  • Draft or review key legal documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney

  • Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to maintain document accuracy and timeliness

  • Manage estate administration filings and ensure all necessary court submissions are complete

  • Conduct client meetings and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally

  • Participate in the planning and execution of real estate transfers within estate and trust structures

  • Support business clients with contracts, entity formation, and transactions

  • Engage with tax authorities on behalf of clients during controversy matters

  • Maintain internal deadlines, case records, and uphold service standards

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina

  • Minimum of 3 years' legal experience in estate planning and administration

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Client-focused approach with attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize and work effectively within a small team environment

  • Willingness to assist with related areas such as business law, tax, or real estate

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Skills:
