A leading litigation firm is seeking a Junior Litigation Associate with at least 2 years of experience, preferably in high exposure, catastrophic personal injury cases, including products liability and general negligence. Location:

• Los Angeles, California

Duties:

• Take and defend expert and witness depositions

• Draft original motions and other litigation-related documents on complex matters

• Draft discovery requests and responses to be exchanged with various parties

• Develop and maintain client relationships through oral and written communication

• Prepare for trial, including motions in limine, exhibit lists, and witness lists

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in personal injury, products liability, and general negligence (Preferred)

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a top law school (Required)

• Licensed and in good standing in California (Required)

• Experience in a billable work environment

• Self-motivated, high-energy individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines

• Superior written and oral communication skills with attention to detail

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California (Required)

Skills:

• Civil litigation (personal injury, products liability, general negligence)

• Legal research and writing

• Deposition skills (expert and witness)

• Trial preparation

• Client relationship management

• Discovery process and document drafting
