Job Overview:
A full-time Attorney position based in Springfield, Illinois, focused on civil rights litigation. Duties:

• Represent clients in civil rights matters and related litigation
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Develop case strategies and advocate on behalf of clients
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to address client needs
• Participate in negotiations, hearings, and other legal proceedings as required
• Maintain effective communication with clients and legal team members

Requirements:

• 0 to 10 years of experience in civil rights law or related litigation matters
• Ability to manage legal matters effectively and meet deadlines
• Strong commitment to client service and professional excellence
• Ability to work collaboratively while handling responsibilities independently

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Illinois and/or Missouri, in good standing
