Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its No-Fault and coverage practice group, specializing in the defense of New Jersey No-Fault claims. This hybrid position offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated attorney to build their career in the insurance defense field, working closely with senior attorneys on a variety of cases and gaining exposure to both litigation and consultancy.

Location:

• Hackensack, NJ

Duties:

• Defend New Jersey No-Fault claims, both in litigation and through insurance defense consultancy.
• Manage a caseload, including preparing legal documents and case files.
• Conduct examinations under oath and depositions.
• Appear in court and for arbitration matters.
• Draft legal paperwork, including motions and pleadings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys in case strategy and development.
• Advise clients on legal matters and provide strategic solutions.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files.

Requirements:

• Admitted to practice law in New Jersey.
• Experience in New Jersey No-Fault claims, whether on the defense or plaintiff side.
• General litigation experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
• Strong communication, research, and writing skills.
• Comfortable appearing in court and managing arbitration matters.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey (required).
• New York Bar license (preferred, but not required).

Skills:

• Experience in No-Fault claims and insurance defense.
• Strong litigation, deposition, and court appearance skills.
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
• Organizational skills to manage a full caseload effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
