Duties

• Draft petitions, motions, briefs, and legal correspondence

• Conduct legal research to support case development

• Provide counsel to clients in personal injury, criminal, and immigration matters

• Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and depositions

• Meet and communicate regularly with clients and support staff

• Maintain and update client case files and documentation

• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies

• Participate in firm meetings, trainings, and case reviews

Requirements

• Litigation experience in personal injury, criminal

• Client-first mentality with a drive to deliver results

• Willingness to work from the Pearland office (not a remote position)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple cases with professionalism and efficiency

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with the Texas State Bar

Skills

• Proficiency in legal research and case law analysis

• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to negotiate favorable settlements and plea agreements

• Detail-oriented and organized with effective time management

• Experience with civil or federal litigation preferred
