Job Overview:
A respected law firm located in Los Angeles, CA, is actively seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join its expanding personal injury practice. This position offers the opportunity to take a leading role in managing complex injury claims, mentoring team members, and advocating for clients throughout the litigation lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings a depth of courtroom experience and a commitment to exceptional client support. This is a pivotal role within a growing practice focused on delivering impactful legal outcomes and client-centered results.

Duties:

• Collaborate closely with litigation and pre-litigation teams throughout all phases of case development

• Strategize and execute legal plans, including discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation

• Serve as lead or second chair during trial proceedings

• Oversee and guide junior attorneys and paralegals to maintain workflow efficiency and case quality

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and manage expert witness coordination

• Communicate effectively with clients, adjusters, opposing counsel, and court personnel

• Monitor case progress, deadlines, and team deliverables for multiple active files

• Contribute to the firm’s development through participation in leadership initiatives and growth strategies

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience with at least 2 years in the personal injury field (plaintiff or defense side)

• Proven trial experience; prior first or second chair participation preferred

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Demonstrated ability to manage a high caseload and lead team members

• Passion for client advocacy and justice in injury matters

• Active license and good standing with the State Bar of California

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar (Required)
