A law firm seeks a passionate Junior Family Law Attorney to join their dynamic team and help revolutionize the way family law is practiced. Duties:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their goals and help them navigate family transitions.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and court proceedings when necessary.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including attorneys, paralegals, and external resources like counselors and financial planners.
  • Guide clients in articulating a vision for their future and developing strategies to achieve it.
  • Provide clear explanations of legal options to clients, helping them make informed decisions.
  • Advocate for clients' interests in all legal forums, including litigation and mediation.
  • Maintain organized client files and managed case progress efficiently.
  • Assist clients in accessing additional resources for comprehensive support beyond legal services.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • An active member of the Colorado Bar, in good standing.
  • Strong empathy and communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients during emotionally challenging times.
  • Passion for family law and helping clients resolve conflict and plan for their future.
  • Excellent writing and research skills, with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment, including working remotely.
  • Strong ethical compass, ensuring high standards of professionalism and client service.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative while knowing when to seek guidance.
  • Proficiency with technology and legal software to support efficient client services.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Colorado Bar membership (required).

Skills:

  • Excellent legal writing and research abilities.
  • Strong client communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple cases while managing deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in legal technology, including case management and document drafting software.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a remote and in-person setting.
