A law firm seeks an associate attorney in Baltimore, MD for a remote position. Duties

• Maintain client files in an organized fashion for easy access by attorneys and staff.
• Collaborate with clients, senior associates, and staff to efficiently move cases toward resolution.
• Analyze legal conflicts, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on their behalf.
• Draft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts.
• Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and provide general counsel under supervision.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet client needs and grow the client base.
• Candidates must have passed the bar exam.
• Member in good standing and actively involved with the American Bar Association.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Valid Bar license in Maryland.
