Location:

Duties:
Develop strategies for USCIS applications and prepare clients/witnesses for interviews and testimony
Handle family-based, humanitarian, and naturalization cases through USCIS channels
Conduct client consultations to determine eligibility and create case strategies
Draft and submit immigration applications, petitions, and supporting documentation
Analyze legal issues and advise clients on potential benefits and risks
Review prepared applications for accuracy and legal sufficiency
Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutors, and community organizations on immigration issues
Support removal defense efforts as needed and coordinate with EOIR team when appropriate
Visit detention centers to conduct client intakes (if required)
Maintain and manage a caseload with a high degree of independence
Requirements:
3–5 years of immigration law experience, specifically with USCIS matters
Proven ability to manage and move forward multiple cases effectively
Strong experience with family-based petitions, humanitarian relief, naturalization, and related applications
Comfortable working with both detained and non-detained clients
Ability to collaborate with a team while also working independently
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active bar license in any U.S. state (Arizona preferred or willingness to obtain)
Skills:
Excellent legal writing, research, and oral communication skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
Proficiency in immigration case management software (preferred)
High-level interpersonal and client-relations skills
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
