Duties:

• Represent clients in criminal law matters from initial consultation through case resolution.

• Prepare and draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence.

• Conduct client consultations and advise on available options and strategies.

• Manage a docket of clients, ensuring deadlines and court appearances are efficiently handled.

• Collaborate with paralegals and administrative staff to oversee case preparation and client billing processes.

• Analyze client situations, identify legal solutions, and develop case strategies.

• Attend court proceedings regularly and advocate zealously on behalf of clients.

• Lead client meetings, potential client consultations, and internal team discussions weekly.

• Foster a supportive environment for junior staff and assist in the growth and development of the team.

• Engage in problem-solving and creative case development to achieve client goals.

Requirements:

• Strong decision-making, public speaking, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently while handling multiple cases.

• High level of organization and initiative to complete tasks without supervision.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Oklahoma Bar Association (or eligibility for immediate admission).
