A law firm seeks a qualified associate attorney to support its Arizona practice in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves handling a significant volume of cases within the field of creditors' rights, with opportunities for court appearances and some travel within the state.

Duties

• Manage a high volume of mortgage foreclosure and collections cases.
• Resolve issues in discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution.
• Participate in court appearances and hearings as required.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners.
• Contribute to the firm's growth and reputation as a top-performing firm.

Requirements

• Member in good standing of the AZ state Bar.
• Licensed or able to obtain a license in Arizona federal district and bankruptcy courts.
• 5+ years of experience in mortgage foreclosure and collections.
• Familiarity with TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code preferred.
• Strong leadership, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with the New York legal system is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar License in the state of AZ (required).
• Additional state licenses are a plus.
