Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a skilled Labor and Employment Attorney to join their team in Montclair, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal counsel on labor and employment matters, representing clients in litigation cases, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Job Duties:

• Research and analyze legal issues about labor and employment law
• Draft legal documents, including motions and briefs, for litigation cases
• Represent clients in employment litigation cases, including hearings and trials
• Advise clients on employment practices and policies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of labor and employment law, including litigation and counseling
• Experience in litigation, preferably in the field of labor and employment law
• Strong research and analytical skills to effectively analyze legal issues
• Experience drafting legal documents, including motions and briefs
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for effective client communication and advocacy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a legal team
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New Jersey and/or New York Bar
• Experience working with corporate clients is a plus

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New Jersey and/or New York Bar
