A law firm seeks an experienced corporate attorney at the Counsel or Junior Partner level in Vienna, VA. The ideal candidate will have 7-12+ years of experience and the ability to independently manage a wide range of corporate matters, including M&A transactions and general business issues.

Duties

• Handle outside general counsel work and advise clients on corporate needs.
• Manage M&A transactions from consultation through closing.
• Draft and negotiate agreements and advise on governance issues.
• Coordinate with other practice groups as necessary.

Requirements

• 7-12+ years of corporate experience, including OGC-style advisory work and M&A.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and handle matters independently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Virginia.

Skills
