A law firm is seeking a highly qualified Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney to join their team in Salt Lake City, UT. Duties:

• Handle loan origination work for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity.
• Manage asset management and workout processes.
• Run transactions on behalf of lenders from inception through closing and post-closing.
• Oversee secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents related to real estate finance.
• Provide legal counsel to clients on real estate finance matters.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure efficient and effective case management.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and real estate finance industry trends.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of broad real estate finance experience.
• High level of academic achievement.
• Proven experience in large law firm environments.
• Extensive experience in loan origination, asset management, and workout processes.
• Experience with secondary market repurchase facility work and exit strategies.
• Superb writing and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the state bar.
