A law firm seeks a Real Estate Finance Associate in New York, NY. The candidate will join a dynamic team, engaging in diverse real estate finance transactions and working with various financial institutions.

Duties

• Represent commercial and investment banks, insurance companies, and other lenders in financing commercial properties.
• Conduct title, survey, lease, and other commercial property diligence.
• Work on the origination of loans secured by commercial properties.
• Engage in real estate owner/operator, developer, and equity side work, including leasing.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate finance.
• Exposure to mezzanine loans and commercial mortgage loan securitization and syndication is a plus.

Education

• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Member of the Bar in the United States.

Skills

• Strong analytical and diligence skills in real estate finance.
• Ability to manage varied practice areas effectively.
