Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm seeks a dedicated and experienced litigation associate to join its litigation and trial team. Duties:

• Handle civil litigation cases in both State and Federal courts.
• Assist with trial preparation and participate in trial proceedings.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and depositions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and development.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and legal advice.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in civil litigation and trial work.
• Experience in employment litigation is a plus.
• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar is required; New Jersey Bar admission is preferred.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, with preference for New Jersey admission as well.

Skills:

• Strong litigation and trial advocacy skills.
• Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and case management.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases.
