Job Overview
A law firm seeks a highly motivated associate to join its Finance, Bankruptcy & Restructuring Practice Group in Raleigh, NC. The successful candidate will support the Financial Services Team in various finance transactions and provide practical, solution-oriented support throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Duties

• Support equipment finance transactions, including drafting and reviewing loan documents and leases.
• Assist with local counsel opinions and ensure accuracy across opinion packages.
• Conduct due diligence and manage closing checklists.
• Track transaction details for timely and accurate closings.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Anticipate deal needs and provide practical support.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in equipment finance, asset-based lending, or commercial finance.
• Strong drafting skills and ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously.
• Admitted to practice, or eligible for admission, in the jurisdiction of the office location.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
