A law firm seeks a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join its New Orleans, Louisiana office. This full-time position offers the opportunity to engage in complex litigation matters, providing meaningful case responsibility and hands-on experience alongside accomplished lawyers.

Duties

• Manage assigned litigation matters with increasing responsibility.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and briefs.
• Assist with written discovery, document review, depositions, and fact development.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal teams.
• Support hearings, mediations, trial preparation, and other key litigation events.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in Louisiana or eligible for admission.
• 2-5 years of litigation experience preferred.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Strong organizational skills and sound judgment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Louisiana or eligible for admission.
