The candidate's duties include: File review and legal analysis of claims and causes of action; Extensive legal research and drafting of substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs Regularly representing clients in court, at arbitrations and in depositions; Drafting and responding to discovery requests; Expert witness retention and collaboration; Trial preparation and attendance. Should have 6 -10 years’ experience in general liability/ insurance coverage, experience in other practice areas a plus; Experience with trucking, bodily injury and property damage cases is a plus; J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school; Admitted to practice in the states of Oregon and Washington, other states a plus but not required.
