Duties

• Conduct in-depth legal research to support case preparation and legal strategy

• Draft pleadings, legal memoranda, correspondence, and other documents

• Assist in litigation processes including motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation

• Manage case files and maintain organized records

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal team members

• Communicate with clients to gather information and provide case updates

• Participate in settlement negotiations and court appearances as needed

Requirements

• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities

• High attention to detail and organizational competence

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently or as part of a team

• Prior litigation experience preferred, but not required

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school (required)

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of New York (required)
