Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients across various industries, including construction, healthcare, and insurance
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on diverse matters
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in legal discussions and proceedings
• Prepare legal documents, such as contracts, briefs, and memoranda
• Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of matters
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal issues and litigation strategies
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal developments and industry trends
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
• Handle litigation cases, including drafting pleadings and motions, and participating in hearings

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active admission to the New York State Bar
• In-depth knowledge of labor and employment law, with a focus on construction and healthcare sectors a plus
• Proven experience in providing legal advice and counsel to clients
• Strong ability to conduct legal research and effectively communicate findings
• Excellent writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Meticulous attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Prior litigation experience is preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
