A law firm seeks a full-time attorney to join its team in Texas, supporting Litigation, General Counsel Services, and Corporate & Securities. The role involves addressing high-stakes challenges for companies, combining litigation, distressed dealmaking, and operational triage to preserve enterprise value. Duties

• Handle commercial litigation and debtor/creditor disputes.
• Manage investor litigation and business divorce cases.
• Conduct real estate litigation and emergency relief actions.
• Oversee financial restructuring and distressed M&A.
• Engage in corporate finance and recapitalizations.
• Facilitate investor buyouts and founder buybacks.
• Manage real estate finance workouts and structured exits.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (Texas required).
• 7+ years of substantive experience for partners.
• Ability to originate client relationships and generate billable work.
• Strong writing, research, and case management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Preference for candidates based in the Austin, TX area.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (Texas required).
