The candidate will proactively handle general liability claims involving bodily injury and property damage to achieve optimum results by resolving claims fairly, expeditiously, and economically. Will assess and analyze coverage issues on claims and suits and issue appropriate coverage letters and documentation. Complete timely investigation of claims and post appropriate reserves. Identify and pursue risk transfer opportunities, including dealing with contractual indemnity and additional insured issues. Handle claims in accordance with Firms Best Practices. Resolve claims in a timely manner to achieve an effective outcome. Travel to and attend mediations and/or settlement conferences as warranted.
